Teresa provides administrative support to the Assistant Director of OSU Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Agriculture and Natural Resources program and its professionals. She has held this position since September of 2003, before which she served as an Office Associate and Program Assistant in the Department of Animal Sciences for the 4-H Livestock Program. Teresa prides herself on excellent customer service – both internal and external customers – and has always worked with the public in a variety of industries including banking and insurance.
Teresa grew up in agriculture, raising Simmental cattle, hogs, hay and Burley tobacco in West Virginia before her family purchased a small dairy farm in Gallia County where they milked an average of 100 head of Holstein cattle while continuing to raise Simmental cattle, Burley tobacco, corn and hay. Although busy on the farm, Teresa was active in 4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts, Farm Bureau and Jr. Fair Board. All of these helped give her the true appreciation of doing a god job, doing things the right way, and real value of truth and honesty.
