    COLUMBUS, Ohio – Continuing education credits (CEUs) are available for tax practitioners at the upcoming Income Tax School workshop series, offered during November and December and sponsored by Ohio State University Extension.

    The Income Tax School workshop series will provide tax practitioners with federal tax law updates for 2017 individual and small business tax returns. The series is taught by tax experts with the IRS and Ohio State University Extension and provides continuing education credits for accountants, enrolled agents, attorneys, and certified financial planners.

    COLUMBUS, Ohio – Students at The Ohio State University and Central State University, a historically black university in Wilberforce, will soon benefit from a $2.8 million grant designed to develop leaders for the bioeconomy industry in Ohio and nationwide.

    Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) is overseeing a $2.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture to create a consortium of 20 participating universities and industry partners.

    LONDON ­– Despite a daylong drench and the mud that followed, this year’s Farm Science Review drew eager attendees Sept. 19-21 who came to learn about the latest innovations in agriculture and tote home a bag of freebies.

    A record-number of exhibitors, 642, intrigued attendees with farm machinery, varieties of seeds and fertilizers, weed killers and crop advice at the three-day agricultural trade show sponsored by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University.
