Organic webinars are being planned for the first and third Wednesday of each winter month. The series will provide opportunities for Ohio’s organic community and those who work with them, to learn about Ohio State resources and to provide feedback, experience, and ideas for new research and program directions. Farmers considering organic certification or seeking ways to lower their farm inputs will also benefit from the presentations.

  • All sessions begin at 11 a.m and will last 45 minutes. We recommend joining via zoom so that you can see speaker materials, but phone connections are also possible.
  • You can sign up to receive email reminders for one or more sessions.
  • See additional OSU Extension winter programming at https://agnr.osu.edu/programming
  • Sessions will be recorded and posted on YouTube, but we enourage you to attend live to be part of the discussion.

Cover Crops Suitable for Organic Production - Rachel Cochran, Amanda Douridas, Jason Hartschuh, Sarah Noggle, OSU Extension
Find out about tools and current trials to help evaluate cover crops appropriate for an organic setting. We'd also like to hear from participants about their experience with cover crops, mixes that have worked well, cultural problems or questions that need to be researched, and other field observations.
