Morrow County Extension and Cattlemen’s will be hosting a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Chute Side Training on June 9th @ 9:30 a.m.
We will be providing lunch and an optional afternoon session that will cover:
- Tattoo lessons and herd identification techniques
- DNA collection methods and understanding parentage verification
- Understanding AI certificates, lease agreements and other useful documents
- How to keep accurate breeding records
- How to accurately collect and record performance data
- Photo taking and uploading skills
- Understanding Veterinary terms, interstate health paper requirements, developing a annual herd health and vaccination protocol
