Hops Pre-Harvest Field Night

BOWLING GREEN, OH- Farmers, producers, and brewers interested in hops production are invited to participate in the 2017 Bowling Green Hops Pre-Harvest Field Night August 16th.
According to event organizer, Craig Everett, “New and existing Hops growers will be able to view and learn about Insect and Disease scouting, Nutrient Management, Drying Demonstrations and a possible Mechanical Harvesting demonstration crop and weather dependent”. This event will also showcase the newest research and hops production techniques.
Bowling Green Hops Pre-Harvest Field Night is hosted at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, with help from Brad Bergefurd, a horticulture specialist with Ohio State University South Centers.
A light dinner will be served at 5:30 pm (no charge). See flyer for detailed schedule.
