General Information About Attending OSU Income Tax Schools
How to Register: You may register for $325 in two ways:
1) Internet registration can be found HERE
2) Mail in the brochure registration form with checks or money orders made out to The Ohio State University Extension.
Registration Deadline: Registration must be postmarked or e-mailed by midnight of the registration deadline for selected school. There is a $25.00 additional fee for late registrations.
Mailing Address: If you use a PO Box for receiving mail, you must also provide us with a street address in case we need to send you books by UPS or FedEx (see on-line registration or registration form).
Credit Card Payments: For security reasons, fax, mail or phone registrations with credit card information cannot be accepted.
Cancellations/Changes/Location Transfers: Registrations may be cancelled for a full refund until midnight of the registration deadline of the school for which you register. After that date, a service fee of $50 will be assessed. Fees will not be refunded after the beginning of the school for which you are registered. The Ohio State University is not responsible for costs incurred due to cancellation. Location transfers must be requested at least 5 business days prior to the course you originally registered as well as the one you wish to transfer to. A service fee of $50 will be assessed for location transfers.
Meals and Refreshments: will be provided at all locations
Room Temperature: Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always layer clothing to ensure comfort.
Seats: Some locations have seats that are not padded. Please feel free to bring a cushion if you'd like.
Recorders: Recording at tax schools is not permitted.
Cellular Phones: As a courtesy to others, please turn off all cell phones while in session rooms.
Special Accommodations: The Ohio State University is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs. Those with special needs are requested to make their requirements known to us at least two weeks prior to the course so these can be addressed. Special dietary or access needs can be noted on the registration form.
